As discussed previously, we’d like to get the AwooTube channel started! We will be creating content plans coming up soon, but I know that we have hours and hours of footage between us all to create various types of content already.

I am looking for footage fitting the following themes:

Build Log (and or Inspection?)
Track Days
Auto X Days
General Interesting Car Related Footage (Something cool you saw, dashcam footage, whatever)
Fursuit and Car Related Stuff

In order to include your footage, we will need your help. There will be a lot to review and since you know your footage best, we would appreciate as much help as we can get time-stamping highlights to make editing easier. Footage without timestamps will still be accepted, but may not be reviewed or used if we run short on time.

We could definitely use help reviewing footage! Please contact me if you’d like to volunteer to help.

Here’s instructions on how to participate:

1. Sort your videos into folders by either PROJECT or EVENT. 
For the main folder, please use the naming convention OWNERNAME – MODEL for projects, EVENTNAME YYYY-MM-DD for events.
This will help us match your footage with footage from others and is very important.
If the event is multiple days, please separate the footage by day.
Feel free to add a photos folder within any project or event if you have any good stills!

2. Write a document (text is fine) with a list of the file names, each one followed by a short description.

3. Under each file name, tab in the indent and include any timestamps for highlights you feel are important. As many or few as you want.

Here’s a sample of what a folder and file should look like, hope this helps and feel free to ask for any clarifications:

4. Request a Google Drive Folder from Tina. This will be your designated upload space so bookmark it/add a shortcut to your desktop/whatever.

5. Zip/Compress your folder and upload it to Google Drive. You can also provide memory cards/sticks if local or drop off at con.

That’s it!

Please submit your footage before May 30th. All footage will be credited.

We have a number of tasks we need volunteers for with AwooTube, it’s a big project! Contact Tina if you’d like to help out.
