AwooCru will be at an another open track event at Thunderhill Raceway on Sunday April 29, this time on the West Course! This course is perfect for beginners for those who have interest in driving on a track. For those that never driven on a track before, the beginner’s course is a must. Playing Gran Turismo or Forza doesn’t count as track experience. Otherwise, make sure to register early, beginner sessions tend to sell out very quickly. If you want your name on our famous page of track lap times, transponders are available for rent at the track. Of course...
AwooCru camped out Presidents Weekend at Laguna Seca to tackle the famous corkscrew in AlpineShep‘s Cuddle Shuttle (1991 Honda Civic Shuttle) and Leadpaw‘s Turbo Box (1985 Nissan Sentra). With AlpineShep losing his trackday virginity, he was able to land a 2:15 around the course. Leadpaw had to use boost to survive the cold track and heavy traffic, he was still able to hit within the 2 minute mark with a 1:54. It’s impressive on what these cars are capable of.
